Our $1 Million Goal

Friends Fighting Breast Cancer recently embarked on an exciting journey to reach $1 million in total giving by 2014. For this commitment, our organization will be forever recognized for its efforts and fundraising achievement on the Visionary Donor Wall in the main entrance of Mass General; the wall was built in celebration of the hospital’s 200th birthday. The wall will serve as a reminder to patients that there are people outside the hospital doing their part to eradicate this insidious disease.

In reference to the new discoveries occurring at Mass General in 2000, our co-founder Janet explained, “these advances are significant, and more importantly, they provide hope for a healthier tomorrow for those lives that have been touched by breast cancer.” FFBC wants to continue to give people this hope by supporting independent research efforts.
